Twisted Musings

Webcomic gave me an additional level of flexibility that I couldn't have with ComicPress. I hade been wanting to branch out and give the four panel comic a go but didn't want to lose my single panel archive. Two templates later and everything worked out beautifully.

Treading Ground

When I first started to build a new site, I was initially going to go with ComicPress, but it was such an incredible pain to set up that I was about to give up on Wordpress entirely. But Webcomic was completely different and much more fleshed out. It's easy to use and I was able to make a site that didn't just look like everything else out there. I even picked up a few CSS skills from the videos. Thanks for your work!

Nick Wright of Treading Ground

Artagem Studios

Webcomic includes all the functionality I needed when making a webcomic site, specifically the ability to have multiple comic threads going at the same time. Three cheers for Webcomic!

Banhua Revolver

I am writing to say thank you to all of you at webcomics.net and especially Michael [Sisk] - who is too awesome not to be mentioned ^_^ <3!

Last week Rembrand Le Compete of Beardfluff.com and the designer of my very own webcomics (super/multi wordpress) website (www.banhuarevolver.com) informed me of how you responded (so quickly) to the problem we were experiencing with the webcomics plugin. You rescued our already late-to-launch project! It isn't often that you find people who respond so favorably and in such a quick manner. We love and respect you guys at webcomics.net.

Thank you!

Nadia Russell of Banhua Revolver

Tinkers of the Wasteland

Just Another Web Comic

While I have only been using Webcomic & Inkblot for a short time, (my site is only a few weeks old) they have been great. It is easy to modify Inkblot, and maintaining a comic in Webcomic is a cinch.

Ian Guthridge of Just Another Web Comic

R+M

What's great about Webcomic is that it's exactly as involved as I need it to be. If I just wanted to throw pages up? Awesome, cake walk. If I need to indulge my OCD by tagging individual characters, story arcs, overall arcs, etc? Totally doable. That none of it needs me to know thing one about coding just makes it all the better.

Josh Hechinger of R+M

Webcomic & Inkblot have been very easy to use and I'm very happy with my website.

With Webcomic and Inkblot I was able to move over all of my comics over to one WordPress site with ease. And when I did run into snags the Webcomic forums offer excellent support.

Rachael and Penny

Webcomic is super intuitive and easy to use, and has a lot of features that are unique to it like storylines and being able to post more than one comic per day. But what really sells it is the support-- Mike is very patient and answers your questions quickly and efficiently. I was able to get my site up and ready in time for launch, having no experience with coding websites prior.

In my search to create a clean and simple website for my comic, I tried several paid programs and plugins. Unfortunately, all they did was lead to me repeatedly banging my head against the wall. Thanks for saving my life, Webcomic!

Central Deviancy

When I first launched centraldeviancy.com in 2008, I tried to reinvent the wheel by hand coding the site from scratch. It was a nightmare. Finding webcomic/inkblot was a dream come true. Not only is it totally customizable, but it works with all the existing Wordpress plug-ins.

D20 and Older

Webcomic helped facilitate two seriously inept individuals to further dilute the Internet with poorly drawn images sporting bad video game commentary. Shame on you, Mike. Shame on you so, so much. But thanks! You are awesome! Webcomic's great design and wealth of support material make it a breeze to setup and fully customize in a handful of hours. Definitely the best solution of its kind on the Internet.

At first I didn't know anything, and I spent a few days struggling over getting my site set up. But, thanks to Webcomic and Inkblot, I managed to get my site rolling along smoothly. Comics by Patrick Alexander

Webcomic + Inkblot is almost exactly the webcomic management system I've been wishing for. Everything makes sense; everything works. With some minor customization and a handful of other Wordpress plugins, I've created the website I've always wanted, with multiple comic series in the one location—a single website, and a single Wordpress install. Everything's easy to manage now.

Patrick Alexander of Comics by Patrick Alexander

Claude & Monet

Webcomic is, without a doubt, the best written of the comic software suites out there. It's simple and elegant and knows the comic creator has better things to do than to bang out obscure and esoteric code. Flexible, fast and - dare I say it? - frugal, Webcomic succeeds where others fail to impress.

Rob Barba of Claude & Monet

Bug Pudding

As a cartoonist, my primary focus is on creating an entertaining comic. The publishing of that comic is critical to sharing it with my readers. SIDESNACK

Starting a webcomic with no programming skills or any webdevelopment knowledge can be a rough start. It takes hours of research and practice to bring your vision to life.

Webcomic does make things easier however. The 'less is more' philosophy is exactly what a noob (like me) needs. The word I would use to describe Webcomic would probably be 'flexible'. I made three different concepts with the use of different plugins and I had little problems navigating through this process.

And a big thumbs up to the support provided by the developer. It's those little nudges that get you going in the right direction.

Webcomic = awesome!
